Services

How do I book services with you?

You may book online by using one of the “BOOK NOW” buttons on the website, or you may call 603-466-8400. If I do not answer I am in a service; please leave a voicemail and I will get back to you asap. I strive to make online booking as easy as possible; if you have any issues booking online please feel free to call and we can book your appointment over the phone.

How far in advance should I book?

Fridays and Saturdays book up the fastest, so try to book these days a week or more in advance. For Monday-Thursday, booking a few days in advance will generally work. Same day appointments aren’t always available but still feel free to call and I’ll see if my schedule can accommodate.

Is there a minimum age on massage, body treatments, facials, and other services?

If you are under the age of 18, you will need the permission of a parent or guardian for services.

Do you offer couples massages?

Bella Mina is a one-room studio with one service provider so couples massages are not available. However, if you and a partner or friend would like massages, you have a couple of options: you may be seen for back-to-back appointments and one of you can relax in the waiting area or in the armchair in the studio while waiting for your appointment, OR you may receive a foot soak in the studio armchair for $20 while your friend/partner receives a massage.

Can you accommodate groups?

Bella Mina can only accommodate groups by stacking appointments one after the other. While waiting for your appointment, you may relax in the waiting area or take a walk around downtown Plymouth. If you call and try to book for a group but wish to have same-time appointments I will give you local recommendations.

What if I have special health concerns?

Please list health concerns or conditions on your intake form when you book online, or please let me know of any concerns in person if you book over the phone. I have worked with people with a wide variety of conditions, concerns and injuries and can make any accommodations necessary.

What amenities are available?

Spa robes, spa slippers, warm neck wraps, and hot and cold drinks are available at Bella Mina.

Products

What kinds of products do you use during massages, body treatments, facials, and other services?

For massage therapy, I use either Jojoba or Rice Bran Oil which are hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic (do not block pores) and contain Vitamin E for moisturizing and antioxidants. For facials, Earth Harbor Naturals products are non-toxic, vegan, organic, and designed for sensitive skin. For body treatments, Clean Mundi and Nature’s Willow products are non-toxic, plant-based and free of allergens, carcinogens and harmful preservatives. ALL products at Bella Mina are cruelty free! Please let me know if you have any product allergies.

What is your product return policy?

You may return any product 30 days after purchase if you are dissatisfied for any reason.

Do you sell gift cards online or by phone?

Please purchase gift cards online and feel free to call if you have any issues or need assistance.

Preparing For Your Appointment

Is there anything special I need to do to prepare for my appointment?

It’s best not to wear makeup before a facial, but if you have makeup I will remove it for you with cleansers. It is best not to shave your face or legs immediately before a facial or before a pedicure that includes exfoliating scrub but if you do I will accommodate with gentle products. It is best to shower 24 hours or less before a massage and exfoliate if you’d like the massage oil to better sink in and moisturize the skin.

What time should I arrive for my appointment?

You can show up on time for your appointment, you may show up early but it is not necessary. I have a sign on my door that either says “Welcome Please Knock” or “Do Not Disturb.” If it says “Do Not Disturb” I am with a client, you may wait upstairs in the waiting area if you like but be sure to check back in by your appointment time. If the door says “Welcome Please Knock” please knock and if I am still setting up for your appointment, I will just have you wait a few minutes in the waiting area upstairs until I am ready for you. Please do not arrive and go straight to the waiting area, do knock on the door to let me know you’ve arrived. The sign will say “Welcome Please Knock” at least ten minutes before your appointment time.

If you show up more than 10-15 minutes early for an appointment on Saturday please be aware the doors to the building are locked on Saturdays. I come down and wait by the front door for my clients on Saturdays 10-15 minutes before the appointment. If you show up earlier you may call and I will come down and let you into the building. Please be aware if I am with a client I may not be available to let you into the building until 10-15 minutes before your appointment.

What should I wear during a massage, body treatment, facial or other service?

For massages, you may undress to your level of comfort. Most people opt to remove everything or to keep on only underwear. You will always be covered by the blanket and I only undrape the part of the body I am working on. For back and shoulder massage it is best not to wear a bra so I do not have to work around it or get oil on it. For clothed massages such as the Thai Yoga Massage or Scalp Massage & Hair Glow you may wear your clothes and lay on the massage table and you may optionally have a blanket as well. For facials, you may undress from the waist up and you will be given a body wrap. Hair wraps are used to avoid getting product in the hair, and you may request these for massage as well if you don’t want any oil in your hair. (Please know I do my best to get no oil in the hair for massages — I do scalp massage with clean dry hands.) For pedicures, wear pants that you can roll up to the knee. If your pants are too tight to roll up you may opt to change into a spa robe.

What should I do with my jewelry?

For massages, and 60 minute facials that include arm & hand massage, you can take your jewelry off but it is not required. I am used to working around jewelry, but if you’d like to remove it there is a small green jewelry bowl on the table next to the armchair for you to place it. It is best to take off jewelry if it is big and bulky or if you don’t want to get any oil on it.

Is there anything I should avoid doing before my appointment?

It is best not to shave your face 24 hours before a facial or your legs 24 hours before a pedicure that includes exfoliating, but don’t worry if you did! Just let me know and I’ll use gentler products.

Can I use my cell phone during my appointment?

For massage, body treatments and facials, it is best to relax and avoid phone use. If it is important that you be near or use your phone however, I will accommodate, just let me know.

What if I’m late for my appointment?

I will do my best to accommodate you if you are late and give you your full time. If I have a client coming in after you I may only be able to give you a few extra minutes.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Please call to cancel or reschedule. I do not have a cancellation policy. Life happens! I get it. I do not charge for cancellations but please do cancel as much in advance as you can.  If you no-call and no-show to your appointment, but wish to come for an appointment in the future, you must pay in advance for your next appointment. If you no-call and no-show to this appointment you forfeit your appointment with no refund.

Policies

Do I pay for my treatment at the time of booking?

You may opt to do this for online booking, but you are free to pay after your appointment as well.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, credit cards, Venmo and PayPal.

Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is not included in your bill. Tips are never expected, but always appreciated!

What is your gift card policy?

Gift cards can be used at any time for any service or product at Bella Mina. Gift cards do not expire. If Bella Mina were to close before you used your gift card, you may call 603-466-8400 to get a refund for your gift card.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds will be issued for products within 30 days of purchase if you are dissatisfied with the product for any reason. For services, if you are dissatisfied with your service for any reason please discuss this with me at the time the service was rendered.

Directions & Parking

Where are you located?

Bella Mina Studio is located in The Enterprise Center, 1 Bridge Street Plymouth NH 03264. It’s a brick and gray building at the end of Main Street. From I-93, take Exit 25 and go towards downtown; once you get to the traffic circle, you’ll see the Enterprise Center on your right. Bella Mina Studio is on the second floor, Suite 209.

Is there an elevator in the building?

Yes there is! Once you enter the building, open the door to the left and you’ll see the elevator to your right. There are no stairs to enter the building.

Where should I park?

You can park on the street across from the building. These are paid parking spots! If you book online, you will be prompted to enter your license plate number to be comped for parking. If you book over the phone please bring your license plate number in with you to be comped for parking. If you want to pay it yourself it is $2.35 for two hours and you can pay with your phone through the ParkMobile App. There is a QR code on the green signs across from the building. If you park on Main Street there are free parking spots but they are 30 minute parking spots. There are also metered parking spots on Main Street.

Underage individuals must have parent or guardian’s permission before coming to Bella Mina.

    Bella Mina reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Privacy Policy on our website. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
